Re: Holderness Veterans Honor Roll
The Mt. Livermore Grange # 288 of Holderness, NH has been engaged for the past eight years in research to determine Holderness Veterans of Wartime service. The result is a list of men and women proven to have resided in Holderness and served at least one day during war/conflict dates. The list will be furnished to the town of Holderness for a new Veterans Honor Roll that the town is going to erect. Also a list of names that residency or military service or both have not been verified (see attached lists).
We are now turning to the residents of Holderness and any other interested parties who can assist in providing names and information on other men and women who may meet the established criteria for inclusion on the Honor Roll but are not on the list. If you believe anyone should be on the following list please contact Edward R. Ford, Master of the Mt. Livermore Grange # 288 by July 21, 2006 in order to assist with completion of this important documentation task. In reviewing the list please check for correct spelling, middle initial or any denotation of Jr. or Sr. that is appropriate.
Information can be found at the town of Holderness, NH website (on the right side of screen click on Holderness Honor Roll Committee info) at http://www.holderness-nh.gov. Hard copies are posted at the Holderness Town Hall, Holderness Free Library and the bulletin board at the Holderness Post Office.
Mt. Livermore Grange # 288 would like to thank all the town people and others who have contributed to the Honor Roll project in the past. Contributions are welcome anytime. Contact information: Ed Ford 603 536-4450, email hvhr@adelphia.net or mail to:
