The Town of Holderness Transfer Station and Recycling Facility is located at the end of Tada Dump Road off Route 3, and has one full-time attendant and two part-time attendants supervised by the Highway Agent.
The Facility is open to Holderness residents, Holderness taxpayers, and seasonal guests staying in Holderness by permit, which can be purchased at the Town Office or at the Facility for $5.00. Proof of status will be required.
All material must be from a residence or construction site in the Town of Holderness.
Accepted: municipal solid waste (household trash), small metal items, construction and demolition debris, and the following sorted recyclables: plastic, cardboard, glass, tin cans, aluminum cans, newsprint, and mixed paper.
Not accepted: any item/s or construction material containing asbestos or other hazardous material, car/boat parts, boats, yard waste and leaves, dead animals. ~
Additional fees are payable to the attendant prior to disposal.
