Meeting Minutes

Library Director: Victoria Lang
The Minutes of the October 7 meeting were accepted as presented.
The Treasures report was deferred to Victoria’s figures.
There has been an article by Julie Silk in a recent Record Enterprise. In the article Silk discusses her summer visit to the Holderness Library and praised the quality of her experience.
Sandra Perkins submitted a list of ways the library has improved since Victoria has been hired.
Library Director’s Report
The 2009 Library Budget has been submitted to the Town offices.
The Town road crew will not have the time to add the library to its snow plowing list this winter. Victoria will advertise for bids in the newspaper and on Craig’s List.
The pest control company has eradicated the flying squirrel problem.
There was a leak in the roof above the circulation desk. A roofing company came to look and discovered there was sealant missing over a screw that holds down the slate. The company was able to put a water proof patch on the leak.
The final draft of the library maintenance policy was amended and approved.
Victoria is trying to update her list of people who have library keys.
The meeting adjourned to nonpublic session to go forth with the annual performance review of the Library Director.
The next Library Trustee meeting will be on December 9, 2008, at 5:00 PM at the Holderness Library.
