Meeting Minutes
November 13, 2003
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mike O’Donnell, Art Bartholemew, Paul Weston, Amanda Loud, Earl Hansen, Bob Snelling, Fran Taylor, Susanne Webster, Will Abbott
CALL TO ORDER: Mike O’Donnell called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
BUSINESS: Mike O’Donnell explained that Paul Weston is joining the committee as a resource and not a voting member.
The members went over a proposal from Jeff Taylor and Associates. After much discussion it was agreed that the members would recruit a core group to work on a vision statement. Mike O’Donnell was going to talk with Jeff Taylor to see if he would facilitate that meeting (tentatively scheduled for Jan. 8th) and prepare mailings to core group. The members will follow up with phone calls to the core group as a reminder. The meeting will also be advertised on the website. A public meeting will follow. Postcards will be sent out to summer residents stating that there will be a questionnaire on the towns website to fill out if they want to have input on the vision statement.
Time line is as follows:
January 8, Possible vision statement workshop with core group and facilitator.
February 1, Vision statement to go into town report for town meeting
Post cards to be sent to summer residents.
April, Public meeting on vision statement
June, Public meeting on vision statement
NEXT MEETING The next meeting will be held on December 11, 2003 at 7 p.m.
