Meeting Minutes
December 11, 2003
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mike O'Donnell, Paul Weston, Amanda Loud, Earl Hansen, Bob Snelling, Joey Tuveson, Susanne Webster, Will Abbot, Peter Webster
CALL TO ORDER: Mike O’Donnell called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
MINUTES: All were in favor of approving the minutes of November 13, 2003.
BUSINESS: There was much discussion on the time line set in the last meeting. Earl Hansen pointed out the planning board will vote in April on the vision statement therefore a public meeting on the vision statement in June would be futile. There was concern about the summer residents having an equal opportunity to have input in the vision statement.
It was agreed that postcards would be sent out to the core group for the Jan. 8th meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to draft a vision statement. Postcards with the vision statement will then go out to all taxpayers for their comments. A public meeting will take place and will be posted on the towns website as well as advertised in the paper.
Mike O’Donnell informed the group that Jeff Taylor has accepted the invitation to facilitate the Jan. 8th meeting with the core group discussed. He went over Mr. Taylor’s proposal and all agreed.
NEXT MEETING The next meeting will be held on January 8, 2003 at 7 p.m.
