        • Volleyball continues to go well.
        • Vacation week activities are planned and a flyer went home from HCS.

4) Camp/Beach Update-
        •  The Selectmen decided to deny the request from Squam Docks for permission to use the Town
Beach as a staging area to launch their work barge.
        • We may need a swim instructor for the summer.  Wendy has asked Joyce Warburton to make a
decision soon so we can advertise for a replacement instructor.

looks as though we will require one full-time counselor and one half-time.
        • Holderness Recreation will team up with Ashland Recreation for four combined field trips during
                the summer programs.
        • Wendy has almost completed the submittal of a grant request to the USTA

        • Wendy will be meeting with an interested parent regarding establishing a gardening program
                for kids.
        • Some contact has been made with Little Church Theater for collaboration with the Summer
Concert Series should the funds be approved in Town Meeting.

5) Correspondence- We received a thank you from the HCS PTA for our contribution of a camper-ship
        to our summer program.

6) Other – Wendy reported that she is now the region coordinator of the New Hampshire Recreation
and Parks Association and in that capacity had a successful regional meeting at the
                Safety Building on February 4th.

6) NEXT MEETING: Monday, March 16th  at 6:30 PM

Respectfully submitted,
