___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Board Goals for 2005-2008 1. Increase the performance of students on the New Hampshire Educational Improvement and Assessment Program (NHEIAP) by increasing the percent of students scoring in the advanced and proficient categories by not less than 1% each annually. 2. Reduce the freshman failure rate to less than 20% of grade 9 students failing one or more subjects. 3. Limit the budget increase to 2% annually. 4. Maintain an annual dropout rate of less than 4% annually. 5. Establish a long range vocational/technical needs study committee. 6. Encourage communication with sending schools, parents and constituencies of the district. 7. Develop and plan for a new building and program for Pemi-Baker Academy.
