Holderness Transfer Station Project

Project Description. The Town of Holderness transfer station project
is intended to make improvements to the existing facility without disrupting waste materials the active transfer station sits on. The proposed project will reorganize the layout of the site and include a new office/workshop building and a new pole barn structure over waste containers to provide protection from the elements. The Town has a projected budget of $300,000.00 not including contingencies, for the improvements to the transfer station.
Contract Documents. Contract documents may be examined at the Holderness Town Office, 1089 US Route 3 Holderness, NH or at Signature Press, 45 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett, NH. 603-624-4025. Copies may be obtained only from Signature Press upon payment of a non-refundable fee. All addenda will be issued through Signature Press.
Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 29th, 2010 at 10:00AM EST and shall contact the Owner (603-968-2145) 48 hours in advance of the meeting. Contact person for the Town is Walter Johnson. The pre-bid meeting to be held at the existing transfer station located on Ta Da Dump Road in Holderness.
Bid Deadline. Bids will be received by the Town Administrator at Town Hall in Holderness until 3:00PM EST, August 31, 2010.
