Fire Department

The Holderness Fire Department is overseen by a full-time Fire Chief, Jeremy Bonan. The Fire Department is located in the Public Safety Building on 922 US Route 3, which also houses the Police Station. This building is one of our newest municipal buildings, build in 1997.

Holderness Fire Department is an on call Fire Department, with many dedicated, reliable Fire Fighters. The equipment schedule is as follows:

Remember a Burn Permit is required if there is not a snow base. You can obtain a permit at the Town Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, or stop by the Fire Station.
