2023 Property Valuation Update

The town’s assessors, Corcoran and Associates, have completed an update of property values to reflect current market conditions.  If you would like to view the new assessments please refer to the property tax cards posted online at Tax Maps & Tax Cards.

Help finding the online tax cards:

• Search by last name, map/lot #, or address
• The parcel you select will be highlighted and there will be a blue box on the left of the screen.  Below the photo of the property, you will need to select the Avitar Property Record Card

The tax card will show the prior value as well as your new updated property values.  For more information regarding the updated values see the Assessor's Department page.

Overall, the update of values shows an increase of $415,743,285 in assessed valuation town wide.  To view the sales used to perform this update Select Here.
